Our Team

Shannon is the first voice you hear when you call Pierce Family Dentistry. She has been in the dental field for over twenty years. Shannon worked as a dental assistant in endodontics and general dentistry prior to moving to office manager, a position she currently enjoys. She received her bachelor’s degree from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.

Shannon is a South Carolina native from Columbia. She has been in the Charleston area since 1992. She lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband and has two adult children that are her pride and joy. In her free time, Shannon enjoys long walks, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and her 2 Boykin Spaniels.

Gracyn is a dental hygienist with a passion for oral health and patient care.  She began her career in dentistry by completing the Dental Assisting Program at Trident Technical College in 2020.  Her passion to serve others and promote her community’s oral health care led her to furthering her career by becoming a Dental Hygienist in 2024. She is committed to learning and growing her skills in order to provide patients with the best care.

Gracyn is a local to South Carolina, having grown up in Mount Pleasant.  She enjoys going on the boat with her husband Walker, walking the beach, and reading books.

Amy has been a dental hygienist over 20 years. She graduated from Greenville Technical College and later earned a Bachelor of Health Sciences from MUSC. She still has a passion for continuing education in many aspects of Dentistry.

Amy has been married 21 years to her high school sweetheart, and has two children, Luke and Lily.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and her dog, Lacie.  Other hobbies include yard work, snow skiing, jazzercise, and traveling.

Jenell  has been with the office since 2019. She has a B.S. in Counceling Skills and Psycology. She has been a dental assitant since 2003. Jenell always greets patients with a smile and a kind hello. Her favorite part about working at Pierce Family Dentistry is getting to see people build trust in dentistry and in educating the patients in what dentistry can offer. She enjoys interacting with the patients and helping them to feel comfortable. Jenell says “I love the positivity of the office and the quality of care given here by everyone”.
